Bio:

From an early age it was clear that Mashiara was a little different from the rest of the kids. She was always a little smaller. Thanks to the dragon blood she has an unnaturally long life span and thus aged slower. That was the least of her problems though. Her hair is such a deep gold that it reflects sunlight, her eyes are reptilian slits of the purest gold, and her skin even in the deepest winter when it has seen no sun has a faint hint of gold to it.

Her town was small and nestled back in the mountains on the southernmost portion of the continent. The people there were farmers and craftsmen that were known for many leagues for their craftsmanship. Part of the reason for this was the exceptional quality of the wood in their region. They were always careful not to use too much and to replant the trees as their people had done almost religiously for hundreds of years. It insured that their children and grandchildren would have enough to craft so they too could feed their families.

The kids teased her, because they knew not of her heritage, they just saw what they saw. The adults knew better and avoided her. She never quite fit in with anyone in her town except her parents. After they died there was no reason for her to stick around. So she left and became a mercenary. At each town she picked up books on dragons, the divine, angels, demons, and other extraordinary things. In time she figured out what she was. An descendant of Dragons. One of the few whom the blood takes root in. She also likes to pick up different pieces of wood and will often remember villages based off the most prevalent wood types.

Over time she came to worship Bahamut the Dragon god of good dragons. Although she is generous, she does not feel the need to give quite as freely as most Paladins. Because she read in a book once that those who serve Bahamut well and slay a Red Dragon are sometimes confronted by an Avatar of Bahamut himself to be asked to join the ranks of his most devoted servants. So she wants to keep a sizable offering should this ever happen.

She travels from town to town as a mercenary still, however she only takes the jobs which are on the up and up. She also never works for evil employers, unless they can somehow lead her to the lair of a Red Dragon. They can be dispatched after the most hated foes of Bahamut have been slain.

Unfortunately she is a little to zealous in her devotion to her god. She is willing to put herself in harms way to get what she wants and bears several battle scars (much more then you would think for one so young) that show just how foolhardy she can be.
